Ferrara’s Growing Pains

Candy, confectioners, and snack powerhouse Ferrara came to DePaul University for support in integrating their recently acquired Nestle’s candy warehouses and employees to the Ferrara family. DePaul students were tasked with creating an internal campaign and content calendar they could use on the Facebook platform Workplace.

To understand the challenge, each team member of each team conducted their research to gain insights into Ferrara, internal campaigns to create an actionable plan.

Gathering our individual data and research our team created the strategy to focusing on education, connection and recognition to engage, uplift, and unify existing and new Ferrara employees.

Award Winning Calendar

Our team won the pitch, with Ferrara executives voting on each group's live presentation. They noted our aspect of uplifting and rewarding employees. Our content calendar highlighted various departments of employees vital to the companies success but seldomly got celebrated.
